Meal plan: Week starting 23 March

Monday: Roast chicken with roast vegetable and couscous salad. Dressing: Quick salad dressing from The Failsafe Cookbook.

Tuesday: Beef wraps with red bean paste, lettuce and Mighty Mayo from The Failsafe Cookbook or Real Failsafe Meals (Thermomix recipe).

Wednesday: Chicken tenderloins stir fried with bok choy (moderate salicylates) and cashews. Stir fry sauce: Magic Sauce.

Thursday: Meatballs with pasta and no-mato sauce

Friday: Baked white fish with homemade potato wedges, salad and Mighty Mayo (see Tuesday) or Garlic Mayonnaise.

Saturday: Steak, garlicky green beans and potato salad

Sunday: Roast lamb, swede, potatoes and brussels sprouts. Pear crumble from The Failsafe Cookbook.

Baking for election cake stall: Melting moments and mini caramel cakes from The Failsafe Cookbook.

    Do you have a recipe for the red bean paste?

      Janelle, this recipe is in The Failsafe Cookbook by Sue Dentate, p.107 in my edition. I use a tin of red kidney beans, a splash of sunflower oil and pinch of salt, then blend in Thermomix or food processor. You can also add citric acid and water to thin it out, as per original recipe.
