Meal plan: Week starting 15 June

Monday: Creamy chicken and brown rice soup adapted with cashews (instead of almonds), failsafe veggies and FS vegetable stock paste

Tuesday: Mince and potato casserole from The Failsafe Cookbook, with steamed green beans

Wednesday: Lamb chops and choko mash; Sprinkle biscuits (Slice And Bake biscuits from The Failsafe Cookbook, with added Hoppers sprinkles)

Thursday: Roast vegetable and lentil soup with homemade bread rolls

Friday: Homemade burgers: beef patties with shallots and choko, iceberg lettuce, sliced beetroot (check ingredients carefully) and potato wedges

Saturday: Chicken and shallot pie filling (from The Failsafe Cookbook) in puff pastry or homemade shortcrust pastry (Thermomix Basic Cookbook or The Failsafe Cookbook recipe) and green salad; Caramel and Cashew pudding for dessert.

Sunday: Indian style lamb with leeks and potatoes from The Failsafe Cookbook, with rice, green beans and pear ketchup and leftover green salad
