Meal plan: Week starting 7 September

Monday: Potato and leek soup with garlic pizza. Pear and bean salad from Friendly Foods cookbook

Tuesday: Rice paper rolls with chicken tenderloins, cabbage, carrot (mod sals), chives, thinly sliced green beans. Magic sauce for dipping.

Wednesday: Stir fried beef, green beans and garlic with ‘tiger rice’ (mixed brown and white rice)

Thursday: Creamy garlic chicken risotto and green salad

Friday: Sausage rolls and vegetable sticks (green beans, celery, choko; cucumber and carrot for mod sals)

Saturday: Steak or lamb chops with oven baked potato wedges and quinoa and rice salad

Sunday: Chicken or veal schnitzel with leftover rice salad
