Meal plan: Week starting 12 October

Monday: Risoni or brown rice salad with beef strips, green beans, snow peas (mod sals) and caramelised leeks

Tuesday: Lamb roast with celery pesto crust and potatoes and swedes

Wednesday: Baked rice paper rolls and Asian style cabbage salad with bean shoots, shallots and ‘magic sauce’ (Thermomix method and conventional method)

Thursday: Creamy chicken, swede and lentil soup

Friday: Homemade pizza with beef mince, shallots, “that cheese sauce” and thin choko strips and mixed lettuce salad (mod sals)

Saturday: Chick chick patties with homemade burger buns and lettuce

Sunday: Boiled eggs, soldier toast, failsafe sausages and hash browns (breakfast for dinner!), with steamed asparagus and carrot sticks (mod sals)
